Willoughby-on-the-Wolds

We had a very pleasant afternoon on Sunday in Willoughby where they had an open gardens day. There were some fantastic gardens (and houses), this one was my favourite as it was the sort of place you could get lost all day and never get bored. We still want to move to that place in the country! One day.

Joe's Birthday Treat (finally!)

Well Joe was surprised to find out, when he woke this morning, that we were off to the West Midlands Safari Park. An uneventful journey this time and a fabulous day. First we did the safari tour, the highlight of which was having this giraffe very nearly drooling through the sunroof. Then we spent the rest of the day on the rides, looking at creepy crawlies, reptiles (including anacondas!) and hippos. Here are some more photos
