Big Kids

It was cold but sunny this afternoon so I managed to drag everyone out for a walk around the lake at the country park. We used to take the boys there very often when they were little and we lived on the doorstep. This play areas was a big hit then and still seems to be now!

Joe is under the weather - he had tonsilitis the week before last and has now come down with a coldy-type thing. Most unlike Joe.

My big news this week is that I have received my first ever speeding ticket for doing 49 in a 40 zone in Nottingham! It took them 26 years to catch me!

Borough Hill

We dashed to Leicester this morning so that I could finally get my birthday/Christmas present (and iPhone) and then we headed for Borough Hill so that I could try out its camera - oh and to do some more sledging. It was quite a gathering - Etheringtons, Blakes, Litts and Morgans!

School's Out

I left before 6.30am this morning for a breakfast meeting in Loughborough, left there just before 8.30 intending to drive on to Wellingborough only to discover my car covered in snow! As I drove past the boys' school I was relieved to see that it was closed - the roads were not nice. Finally got home in time to trek into a very snowy Melton. Lovely!
