Joe goes for gold!

Joe and I spend a very long day at a Judo competition in Littleport, near Cambridge, today. It was worth it though, as Joe walked away with a gold medal after winning all three of his fights!

Luke the Star!

We had another marvellous parent' evening yesterday at De Lisle. This time it was Luke's turn. He was so nervous, thinking that his teachers were going to be telling us about this awful child - nothing could be further from the truth. Glowing reports across the board (although it has to be said he has a tiny bit of a reputation as a chatterbox!).

The best thing of all about good reports is the treats that follow. This time it was a meal at Pizza Express - yum! Well done, Luke, and thanks for the treat.

and even more snow...

Woke up this morning to heavy snow and a pretty reasonable covering. Getting a bid bored with it now! We had people viewing the house this morning so I was out with the shovel first thing clearing the drive. It's now almost completely melted.

We went for a walk up to and around Burton Lazars yesterday and looked longingly at the house that we hope we will be able to buy (just need someone to make an offer on this one!)

Valentines Weekend in Bristol

Had a lovely day on Saturday in Bristol. We had lunch at a wonderful pan-Asian buffet and then burned it off(!) with a stroll around an exhibition of paper art. Mixture of weird and wacky, and wonderful.
